Regeneration specialist, Urban Rhythm will be previewing its eagerly anticipated Wheatsheaf Works development in Knighton Fields, Leicester this Saturday 3rd December.

The £20 million redevelopment of the former Wheatsheaf Works Boot and Shoe Factory, on Knighton Fields Road East, will see Urban Rhythm, part of Leicestershire-based The Hazelton Group, transform it into 172 high quality homes to meet the housing needs of the local community.

The landmark site, with its two Grade II listed factory buildings and clock tower, will become a mixture of brand new townhouses and converted homes in the original buildings that will be built over a series of four stages. The first phase of homes, aptly named Quarter One inspired by the iconic clock tower, will comprise a range of 2, 3 & 4 bedroom modern houses.

These unique homes will complement the main factory buildings, adding a splash of contemporary architecture to create a refreshingly unique character to what is destined to be an iconic city centre development.

Richard Hazelton, Commercial Director at The Hazelton Group said, "We are delighted to be previewing Wheatsheaf Works this weekend.

After months of careful planning and liaising with Leicester City Council, work has progressed well on site and due to popular demand we are now ready to unveil our plans for this iconic development."

The first phase of homes will be available for sale from this weekend. The houses are to be highly energy efficient to include the installation of air source heat pumps and underfloor heating as standard. Every home will also benefit from private parking and have their own private gardens.

The development will officially launch in January 2012, with the opening of a brand new showhome. Register your interest to attend the official launch of Wheatsheaf Works on the website or by calling Urban Rhythm on 0116 210 0765 or visit www.hazeltonhomes.com/urban/.
